Im on Windows 7 using windows media player 12 and I cant get it working again as a media server to my ps3. I got it working once but no clue exactly what I did to get it working. I did everything I thought again tonight and it wont work. Im using tversity atm but I prefer using WMP instead. I turned on media sharing just ps3 wont pick it up this time. Any help would be great.

The media connect features in Windows 7 WMP are blocked for now. You can't stream from WMP 12 to xbox 360 either. I had to google this stuff up as it was driving me nuts. It's not your PS3 or setup. Use a 3rd party software.

WMP 12 works just fine for streaming to the PS3. It may not work with the beta, but works just fine in the various RC and pre-RTM builds. I have had absolutely zero problems accessing my media libraries using build 7127.
