I'm new to the forums here, and wanted to seek help for my projector - Epson Moviemate 50. Although it is not the best, I find it very satisfying as a college student watching movies and playing video games all the time =)
My question is, how can I figure out the ideal settings for movies? (contrast, tint, brightness, color saturation)
By the way, my room is completely dark and there are no problems with the projector.
Thanks for all the help!

Greetings
The basics ... get a test disc. AVIA II ... DVE ... or even the monster ISF disc and follow the instructions to get the ideal settings for your display and environment.
What you get out of it is dependent on what you put into it.
Even something free like the THX optimode on thx discs will help considerably if you have nothing else.

That all sounds like good information, however, I don't really understand projector speak, so if you could please dumb it down for a newbie like me...such as where can I get the discs or software your talking about and how to use it?
I appreciate all the help Michael!

Greetings
Any THX dvd has test patterns. Follow the instructions.
Amazon is your friend for the other test discs.
