Looking for something to compliment my Klipsch satellites from a Promedia computer set. They have absolutely no low end. Everything is hooked up to a Denon 1909. I am in an apartment on the 2nd floor so I am running a Klipsch KSUB12 at very low gain right now but thinking of returning it and getting something a bit cheaper.

1. Your budget. Under 200
2. Size requirements/limits. none
3. Room dimensions. 12 x 20 feet
4. Primary uses. 80% Movies/TV, 20% Music (Classic Rock and Country)
5. Listening habits. Generally keeping things low to moderate. Nothing too loud.
6. Appearance, black
7. Timeframe, none

Something like a Velodyne VX-10 would probably be perfect for this application. Under $200 if you look online (probably not in any retail stores though), solid extension to ~35hz (you won't really find anything much lower than this in your price point) and it will still be enough to have the neighbors want to have you removed from the complex if you play it after they've gone to bed.

check out subwoofers from the speaker company. I have an asw-8, goes down to 33 hz, and is a really great sub for the money.

check out
Acoustic Audio HD-SUB12 for 198bux lookin www.blu-ray.com for all the happy owners

also

Premier Acoustic PA-120 230bux look in this forum and bluray forum for the happy customers

I looked at both a great deal... they both come in black but the PA-120 comes with a black gloss on the top and internal bracing.. they both extend very low in the lower 20's....

I live in a townhome with both walls being shared with neighbors.... and I run dual PA-120's... I love them

hey, get the pa-120, very well acclaimed in this website. Phone the seller, he is willing to go down in price to $210 from $230.
