Hi all,

Totally new to the world of HD media storage devices etc. Got on to the idea after my HDD became full with movies and music videos and music that I simply could not delete, I love watching them on the big screen with 5.1 surround sound. I previously used to connect my laptop to my flatscreen, pain in the ass! So came the solution, get a media player!

I came to the conclusion after a lot of reading that the DVICO TVIX M-6500 version 2 was the best. I am by no means an expert, I just came to this opion as I like the capability, the reviews, didnt really hear much bad news about it, and liked the GUI compared to other primitive competitors.

By no means a cheap choice, I spent $570 today with a pre-installed 1.5TB HDD.

So I am asking:
Any advice for when the player arrives?
What should I do, or look out for?
Is this a good system?
Basically looking for any advice and encouragement and hoping I havent made a huge mistake!
