1. is there a NAS capable of streaming H.264 in MKV container to HD Media player?
2. can someone explain why streaming would work through Samba and not UPNP?


I have a LIMHD 310s and I tried to test UPNP with Bubba Home Server. I was unable to play any HD movies in H.264 MKV format. Divx and other type of movies will play just fine.

I was told by Bubba support that it will only work through Samba.
