Popcorn streaming content from a Raid6 with 8 drives, connected via wired gigabit. Quad Core streamer. The video is very choppy and freezes alot.
Can anyone help me on this.
Thank you

Whats the video and format .....

What protocol

obviously we need more info if you want help...

mediainfo is a great tool for extracting video info....

I stream BD rips over my network extremely reliably with mine....

u know there is an NMT thread you could post in

EDIT: SEems you know about the A110 thread and posted here anyway. why? who knows...

does the content in question play OK of the interal disk to the PCH you said you installed in the a110 thread.

THat would be my first expirement.

No hard drive in the popcorn. NAS is running Windows 7, tcp/ip, samba. X264 720P.
I hope this is better.

which indicates you have a drive in the PCH or was that not true....

either way....

have you tested your NAS to make sure something is not wrong and its streaming correctly....

seems odd to run a beta OS for a fileserver.

run media info on the file and post the results...

and please post in the A110 thread....
