Hi, first off, I hope I have this posted in the correct forum. I have a JVC 52g787 tv that is 720p but also plays 1080i resolution. I have directv hr21-200 dvr, and a harmon kardon 547 receiver. As of right now, I have the dtv receiver connected to the h/k receiver via hdmi 1.3a with the receiver only set to 720p not native, and from the h/k receiver to the tv via hdmi 1.3a cable and also have the h/k receiver set to 720p. My question is, are these correct settings by forcing 720p, or would I be better of setting the dtv receiver to native, and let either the h/k or the tv handle the 720p conversion from 1080i or 1080p hd on demand movies? Which would handle the conversion better?
