It is all about room environment and placement. You will actually gain output and improve the distribution of sound with multiple subs if placed properly in a room.

I think the OP is talking about line level signal from the AVR.

There are people here who run 6+ splits of the LFE channel with no issues.

Ahh thanks, didn't underestand what he was saying. Yeah I imagine you would have to have quite a few before that would be an issue.

6+ splits. Good, I am thinking of having 4 to 5 subs for my room.:D
