Hello, I'm having problems getting my Squeezebox to connect to the network. It worked perfectly before, but the wireless router was closer to the box back then before I moved. Since, I have no choice but to have them further apart.

I couldn't get the Squeezebox to recognise my computer as the music source originally, so I did a factory reset. Then the connection process ran very smoothly, getting past the stage where it asks which squeezebox to associate with the remote. Then, it stated saying, "Connecting to Squeezebox", as it should. Unfortunately, it said this for at least 15 minutes before I gave up.

I am using a BT HOMEHUB 2.0, which actually works perfectly after having sent the previous one to an early retirement after only having it for a week.

Any ideas? The controller states that it has full signal.

I had a problem with my squeezebox a while back it turn out it was the remote, it was slow in updating. This could be your problem also since you did a factory reset if you are updating. when I did mine it was like 30 minutes or more. give it some time, go have coffee see what happens hope this helps. I resolved the problem by resetting the player to factory default and then being very persistent.
