Been watching the USA vs. Brazil game on ESPN. Gotta know, what is the constant "buzzing" sound eminating from these games.

Funny how they consider it a South African tradition. I remember them being popular and trying to bring one to an American baseball game in the 1960s. I was not allowed to use it, and almost got tossed from the stadium.

That sh*t is annoying. I couldn't watch with that noise going on in the background.

Yeap. Anoying. FIFA is supposed to talk about them before World Cup 2010. Ihave a feeling they won't be allowed much longer.

No kidding. I remember playing and going to indoor soccer games, Memphis Americans, Storm, and some people having those in the stands in the 80's. I used to have one!

Personally I can tune it out. If FIFA does let them have them for WC 2010 hopefully it will only for for SA games.

The horns are pretty common at Crew games and no less annoying. The announcers during one game mentioned they might be banned for every game that doesn't involve RSA.

Horns like those have been at MLB games for years. I've heard them, but maybe only a few, not in the large concentration at the soccer games.
