Does anyone on these boards have a calibrated LG 60PS11? I just picked one of these up and I'm just about done with a 100 hour burn-in. I've been trying to find some baseline calibrated settings, but I haven't had much luck. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Greetings

Give the above link a good read about the usefulness of sharing settings.

This is not the forum area for copying numbers. That is not calibration. If you want to plug random numbers into your TV ... go to the Plasma TV forum area and copy until you are blue in the face.

This area is for people that want to do it right. Use a test disc ... follow the simple instructions ...

And if you still have questions ... we are then here to help you out.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I was more looking for some baseline settings to start from when i calibrate it myself, but after reading that it looks like it wouldn't do much good anyways.

Thanks again

Greetings

Even something simple and "free" will get you better results than random copying.

Try the THX optimode first. It is found on any THX branded DVD. Follow the instructions and it will get you to a better result in less than 5 minutes.

I have my new LG 60PS11 being delivered by Fry's tomorrow as well. I missed the $1499 sale, but I got it for $1799, which was still an incredible deal for something this size and quality. I own DVE DVD and have done the typical contrast/brightness/color/tint/sharpness calibrations before. What I am wondering is how to use the ISF expert settings. If they are the same as 60PS60, I should be able to set the white balance and/or use the color management system on this set, but I have no clue what to do exactly. I can guess that the color management system settings of Red/Green/Blue/Cyan/Mgt/Yellow will allow me to look through the tinted filters that came with DVE so that I can make the colors on the test pattern look correct. If I do this, do I still need to do any white balance adjustment? If I do, what does the 2 point versus 20 point IRE, inner versus outer pattern mean, and how do I go about selecting the optimal values of red green or blue contrast and brightness?
