This is the reason why I have held off from getting PlayON. I would hate to waste $40 on something which in my mind will get blocked sooner or later. An HTPC is still the best way to get hulu, either through their desktop software, Zinc, or even Boxee (for now)
God forbid that they would have taken the time and effort they put into blocking the PS3 into figuring out how to make advertising work on the PS3 so they would be comfortable allowing people to run Hulu on components like the PS3…

The TV networks behind Hulu do not want to bring hulu to your TV, if you read the Hulu desktop end user agreement it says you agree to use on a laptop or desktop and not on your TV. If users could get hulu on there tv without jumping through hoops like using a dedicated HTPC the masses would no longer need to pay for there cable subscription

I was going through a proxy to watch hulu from canada but they since blocked proxies
