Will it stream in the background while playing a game?
that wasnt mentioned. but now that you do mention it, i couldnt see why they couldnt do something like that.
of course it will depend on a games developer (you do mean stream during a game correct?). but i could see like GTA4 adding a Last.FM channel to their already humongus radio line up. still would end up in a developers lap though. if they can add custom soundtracks then i dont see a reason not to be able to do this.
I was thinking how you can stream your mp3 library mid-game to replace game music, it would be cool to do that with an internet radio service instead and get some new exposure. I prefer Slacker but there are a lot of things I like about Last.fm and would welcome that option.

can't wait for this... i love Last.FM, i really wanted to like pandora, but it seems that (for me) pandora plays like 5 different artists (which i like) but only those 5 different artists.

last.fm has a lot of great songs but for me, on my pc, their tempo is like 10% faster than the song was recorded at or is supposed to be played at.
anyone else experience this? or know why it happens? how to 'cure' it?

i definitely haven't had that issue.
edit: here you go westgate
Download the Uninstaller (http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe)
Open the Windows Command Prompt ( Start > Run > cmd ).
Navigate to the directory where the uninstaller was downloaded.
Run “Uninstall Adobe Flash Player.exe /clean.”

Try Slacker if you haven't. I find it to be a happy medium between the two with a little bit of sat-rad thrown in as well. I use all of them if I feel one or the other is getting repetitive I know switching it up will cure that.
