When I have my WDTV hooked up to my Panny LCD through HDMI it works great. However, when I hook up to my old Mits 65819, either through HDMI (HDfury2) or composite, it skips. The sound and the video skips.
Any idea what this could be. I thought it could be the fury but then I plugged in with composite and it still happened.
Thanks.

Refresh rate. Bad input. Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn are aligned weird.

From your post we would have to assume that you also tried the "Auto" setting correct? Also that you have verified the connections with other HD equipment (Blu-ray\HD DVD) and they work.
Is this a direct connection or are you going through other equipment?, Please make sure that all you connections are tight as well. Make sure there is nothing you have to set up on your TV (settings wise) that might make the picture stutter.
One last question, does this happen with all video or just HD video. With answers to some of these hopefully other members will be able to help.

All good questions.
Yes, I've tried it on auto.
The TV has only one 1080i input and the DVD player usually goes there. It works just fine. I'm connecting the WDTV directly into that 1080i input on the TV.
It stutters on HD and non-HD content. The sound and video skip at the same time. Sometimes the sound will continue and the video will just hang for a few seconds.
All connections, checked rechecked. I tried it using composite connection to 480i/480p and using component to 480i/480p/1080i.

Have you tried a different harddrive and/or USB cable? If you have big enough thumbdrive try that too.
