What are some techniques you are using to save the environment using your xbox? Perhaps you are discarding your batteries in a dump or melting you spare controllers down into slag for some 3rd world army to use as part of a machine gun part or something. As a people, we have learned a new technique known as recycling; in which we melt objects and reuse them. Utilizing this method of recycling, we have managed to cut down on the plastic things that choke out mackeral and clean up our roadsides of mcdonalds bags. What are you doing to make this world a cleaner, nicer planet for our children? Are you using your voice over xbox to spread the word of cleaner planet?
When I'm playing Xbox it keeps me off the road throwing empty beer bottles on school playgrounds. In that effect, my Xbox is helping the environment.
Once I install a TV in the car that environmental bonus will end.

For every hour I can't spend playing my 360 or PS3, or running them when I'm not actively playing them, I try to burn a pack of styrofoam cups on the back porch. The Earth is cooling so it's necessary.

When I'm playing COD4 it fills the need to go outside and shoot walls, trees and telephone poles with my AR15. Does that count?

Actually shooting telephone poles would probably help out the environment more (until someone comes along in a truck and repairs them).
For my part, I am using my 360 as a lapdesk that I am using to write my plan for global domination, after which I will impose some sortof Chinese-like 1-child limit in order to get the Earth's population under some sort of control and to sustainable levels.
Does that count? If not, then I am just playing it instead of wasting gas and contributing to polution by driving down to the bar (where I would no doubt smoke some cigarrettes), then drive home drunk, swerving all over (wasting more gas), causing a cop to pull me over (wasting more gas), haul me to jail and towing my car (wasting even more gas and taxpayer money). Then my wife would have to come down and bail me out (wasting more gas). Then she'd spend 2 hours bitching at me, spewing out more hot gasses. Then it would be extra trips to the impound lot and court and blah blah blah.
So I guess I'm helping.
