it’s XDCAM HD for ‘Expedition Africa: Stanley & Livingstone,’ ‘Survivor,’ ‘The Contender,’ or ‘Wedding Day,

“When we transitioned to XDCAM HD, and we chose to shoot 30P, we found it’s the closest thing to film that I’ve ever worked with,” he said.

Pretty good show so far. These guys are at each other's throats a lot more quickly that I expected, though...

I'm not surprised since it is Mark Burnett Productions. Production company of the U.S. and UK versions of The Apprentice, The Restaurant, The Casino, Rock Star, Combat Missions, The Contender, Martha Stewart, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, Pirate Master, and helped produce the Irish version of The Apprentice,

Once I saw the first snipe that took up nearly 50% of the screen on Ice Road Truckers I decided I was not going to watch this show.

That will show them!

Seriously, I loath that type of advertising myself.

Same thing here I cannot freaking stand it when huge gigantic arse texts is planted on the screen, they all seem to do it now. I mean tell me why does National Geographic for example have to show, Natgeotv.com all the time under the NGC logo, is it necessary to have it there 24/7/365, broadcasters need to adhere to less is more.

The 'leadership' bickering has become as silly and artificial as Gordon Ramsay clashing with misguided chefs/owners on Kitchen Nightmares. Guess anyone can pick up malaria anytime from African mosquito bites (last Sunday), but it appears from the infrared shots of members sleeping that they aren't using nets. Hmm. --John
