Looks like basically the same mic to me. I'm sure it will have the same compatibility. Am I missing something though or do they fail to explain the Rock Band 2 asterisk on that page?

Ahhh, sorry... I thought you were talking RB2. I actually bought Lips for the mics because target had the game w/ 2 mics on clearance for 30 bux. Surprisingly, the game isn't half bad if you like to sing. My wife and I had a blast with it.

Still patiently (?) waiting for that RB 2 patch however... those lips mics are definitely more fun to use; the weight is much more substantial and the obvious lack of a cord is an advantage as well. :D

Amazon has it available for next day shipping but that's all I got. I think I saw mention of someone having it on the RB forums at one point.
