I got this from Good Morning Silicon Valley the other day. An interesting demonstration of how we see color and how dithering can work, even with large block sizes.

Yes, the illusion checks out with ColorCop. :)

What this also highlights, from a calibration standpoint, is that some test patterns are a LOT better at helping set-up a color decoder than are others. ;)

Nifty! Once again, this also illustrates the value in surrounding a TV with truly neutral colors. Thanks for the link. I'll add a link to your post in the viewing environment sticky thread. Always remember.....there's no need for display calibrators, just trust your eyes!:rolleyes:
