Should i pick up halo 3 for $25? I mean not a bad price for brand new in the package!

I know ODST is a couple months away - but is it worth the wait?

If you haven't owned H3 before, definitely a must buy at that price. Too much fun co-op campaign, plus awesome multiplayer to be had. Plus it will get you warmed up for ODST.

^my answer as well. you can probably find halo3 new for approx $40. sometimes the collectors edition goes for $40 as well (comes with a mini cat helmet, lol). for $25 its an xbox experience that should not be missed.

Get H3 now. No need to sit on it until ODST comes out. It may help explain some of the storyline when you get ODST.

You might want to pick up Halo 2 as well since ODST is set in the time period and around the events of Halo 2

You know what obviously all the way down to Ripeer's everyone keeps going further back. You might as well download Halo 1(if you haven't played it already) so you can get the beginning of what started it all and then venture into the books and get Halo Wars :D

Then you will be caught up with the awesomeness of the Halo universe.

Meh...I think Halo Wars is missable if you don't care for RTS games.

meh, different forces, different timeframe, halo 3 won't really prep you much for ODST IMO.

co-op is fun, if you can still find people/friends playing.

but ODST will have ALL of the halo 3 maps, and a few more, you'd just be buying them all twice.

I didn't think he was purchasing H3 for the storyline per se. I think it was to help him get somewhat familiar with Halo gameplay at a cheap price. Plus the OP will get some of the storyline to go along with it.
