After watching the movie I can say the PQ definitely appears to me to be on the soft side but the grain structure is beautifully preserved (kudos). Anyone want to comment on the softness of the image? Inherent to the film?

I'm totally convinced that Sony does the best remasters in the industry. Look at how many catalog titles they've redone and spectacularly at that.
