Until today, I have had no problem copying programs from HD Net Movies channel to my JVC 40K D-VHS recorder via firewire from my Verizon FIOS DVR.
Today, I received the following error message on my HDTV screen: "Can Not Decode Video or Audio. Use Set Top Box or HDTV Tuner (104)" I received this message whether copying from a DVR recording or from a live telecast (same message but with a (300) error code).
Can someone else with a similar setup please confirm that this is happening?
I have no like problem with other channels (I just tried MGM-HD and CBS-HD).
I realize I could have posted this message in the HD Recording Forum, but this might be a deal breaker for many HD Net Movies viewers. I hope this is just a one-time glitch.
