Hi everybody!

I'm an user of nec xg 750g (When I bought it, the seller says it's xg752. But i'm not sure) Sometimes it gives me a sound of arc( or spark. Whenever it does, the picture shook and soon it returned to normal status.

But a few days ago, when I turned on it. Picture rolled horizontally with an arc sound and I can smell burned. Rightly I turned off my projector, and I found the burned place. (See the picture's red circle. picture is from curt palm's site. Sorry Curt!)

Burned part was on the h deflection board. Electronic parts seller says me it's surge protector. Anyway I changed that today. But it burn again when I turned on my projector.

Can anybody explain to me what's the problem and how can I fix it?

You have a bad H deflection board, wiring harness, LVPS or HV board. THat is a spark gap, and yes, they blow apart usually due to another problem in the set. Best bet is to send me the parts mentioned for testing here. Each transistor on the H board is insanely expensive, and unless you have experience repairing these boards, you can run past what I'd charge to repair and test them.

Let me know, send me a PM, or email to curtpalme@shaw.ca

THanks curt for your kindness!

But canada is too far from here, Korea.
Can I know the way I can handle it in here?

Since Curt does this for a living he is not likely to divulge repair details here on an open forum. Take it from someone that has experienced board level problems on an XG, send your board to Curt for repair and you wont be sorry. He is very reasonable and fair and you wont have to wonder if it's really fixed.

Do you have a known good set of working parts to swap in?
