Hi,

I have a Sony HDR-SR11 camcorder. I use Roxio Creator 2009 for editing. I do not have a Blu-Ray DVD player, so if I want to watch my HD movies (in HD) on my big screen TV, I must play them from my camcorder.

I have edited a large compilation of videos and photos (using Creator 2009) and created a large .mp4 file (AVCHD 1080i). I definately cannot use Roxio Creator 2009 to transfer the files to my Sony camcorder, and I cannot find a tool in Sony's Picture Motion Browser software that came with the camera.

Has anyone ever done this with their Sony HD camera? I assume I'd have to convert my mp4 file to m2ts, and maybe I could just copy and paste it onto the camcorder's hard drive using Windows Explorer... but Creator doesn't convert to m2ts and I don't think the Sony software does either.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks! Jason

You should have a copy of Sony's Picture Motion Browser with your SR11. This has the ability to transfer edited .m2ts files back to your SR11. It is fairly time consuming to actually do this, but it works fine.

I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Pro Pack 9.0b for my editing, and when finished, render to Sony AVC, to create .m2ts files. I then find these files with PMB and transfer them to the SR11.

Works fine.
