Does anyone know where to get a replacement light tunnel for an Infocus X3. I tried repairing my, all 4 mirrors were unglued, and apparently I got too much super glue on as it is worse now. Does anyone make a 1 piece product for this rather than gluing 4 pieces together. I saw one noted in a thread elsewhere (carbon fiber tube lined with polished stainless steel), but I haven't received any responses to e-mail yet, and I'm anxious to get the projector back up and running.

No one makes any parts for projectors except the original manufacturer. There are no 3rd party components like there is with cars. So you are limited to either the same part you have or trying to make your own. As far as that carbon fiber tube, it cannot be round. It has to have the same profile as the original. Any difference will affect the image brightness unevenly.
Replacement tunnels are about $60 plus shipping. I normally keep some on hand, but I am out right now. I will be ordering more sometime this week. Let me know if you are interested.

I too had no reply from the guy offering a replacement tunnel made of stainless and carbon fiber - I think it was a hoax! / con!
I have also tried to repair my Infocus X2 tube, with some success but it's still not perfect. What a terrible piece of design/engineering the whole concept is flawed, the way the tube is held in place by the plate puts pressure onto the mirrors so when the glue eventually fails the whole assembly collapses. It's such a stupid idea, it makes you think it's not done on purpose? built in obsolescence !
If you look for 'projectordoctor' on the web, they I am sure can supply you with a new part - try dropping them a mail. If it helps the part No. for the X2 tunnel is 306-0097-00
I for one will never buy another Infocus product.
Good luck with your repair.:)
