Which is curious as the show is devoted to MJ, and the memorial was in HD.

Could it be that fast turnaround edits - or location edits - are still limited to 480i? Or that NBC if editing on location could only feed in SD?

(Rendering time for very fast turnaround edits can be slower in HD than SD - slowing down final delivery etc.?)

Dateline is normally a SD-only show, isn't it?

It is everytime that I've watched it, and it's generally not listed as HD in the listings.
