I've been looking for decent green & blue p16lje08 crts for the past six months now and came up with nothing on fleabay, so was thinking I should go with the VDC p16lje06 option instead. Basically I would like to know if there is any image quality difference between the p16lje06 & 08? And yes, I'm aware about the resistor mod on pin G1, and thats not a problem at all. Any help would be highly appreciated.

There's been several sets of g70 tubes on videogon.

If you do the resistor mod, then the 06's (or 07's) will be fine. Better on paper in fact, but the same in reality.
