My HD70 came without a lamp door. I know there is a switch that needs to be depressed (which would normally be depressed when the door is sealed). Are there any good idea out there for fabricating a new lamp door? I was thinking about finding a way to depress the kill switch and then duct taping over where the door would normally go. I plan to get a new door, but its going to cost me $50 from Optoma, and I am impatient, and a DIYer.
Thanks in advance

Cardboard.
It may sound ridiculous, but desperate times + cardboard + scissors does wonders. Trust me!
Edit**
Of course it's only for a temp. Solution haha.

I used a Q-tip when I did all the H77 upgrades. But that's with the PJ apart. Try a piece of V shaped plastic, it may need a back piece so it doesn't fall inside the projector. You could super glue a back stop on it.
Don't use tape just rubber band something to cover the door. Something not too flammable, a thick piece of plastic cut to size would be good.
