I was looking for certain information in this and other threads however couldn't find it, nor can I easily describe what I am after. I did see a link in another thread with the photo in the attachment.

I am not interested in the TV frame, but the panel on which the TV hangs, as it would be an ideal solution to hiding my equipment behind, but allowing it to be moved away from the wall for access.

I would imagine this is a custom commercial display, does anyone know if anyone sells this kind of an approach for residential applications with shelving behind the panel for equipment?

You mean the white part behind the tv?

If so, I think that's just a sheetrocked wall, with the same floor trim around it as the house.

Looks like it probally has a gas fireplace behind the tv facing the other room, from that pipe going out to the ceiling..

Thanks for the reply, you are probably correct in this case. I just wondered if anyone knew of a furniture manufacturer who made something like this where you could hang the tv panel on the front side and put the equipment behind so as to hide it.

I know it's a cheap solution, but Ikea makes some tv stands for flat panels where they hang on the back... might be a good compromise if you aren't going to frame a wall in.
