I've got a budget minded TV set-up, with a Panasonic P50G10, Logitech Z5500 5.1 speakers, and a couple other components with digital audio out (PC, U-verse DVR, Xbox 360).
Unfortunately my speakers only have 1 optical in, 1 digital coax in, and 3 stereo in.
I'm looking for, I guess, a switch that can take these 3 (or maybe more, since I'd like to add blu-ray eventually) optical inputs, maybe a stereo input or two, and output them via optical out to my speakers. Preferably this would come with a remote that I can program into my Logitech Harmony Xbox 360 and easily switch. I would continue to use my TV for video switching.
Is this probably the cheapest way to get digital audio? Any suggestions on a good switcher?
