Yes, this very large, very heavy television HD tipped off the stand when a wheel broke landing flat down on it's screen on the floor. After two men and boy picked it up off the floor, it played fine, still does. But, on the top right hand corner we have what looks like a small tornado with shade effects that now graces our viewing. Does anyone know if this mishap can be fixed? The glass is fine, it appears to be the screen it's self.
I noticed that this same model number often has a "slim" name attached, but believe me when I say, the model we have is anything by slim.

By CRT standards, it's not as deep as a normal CRT. You should post this in the direct view section under Display Devices, probably get better help there.

just below and all across the front surface of most crt's is a 'shadow mask'....or at least thats what i think its usually called....its a sheet of metal with thousands of tiny holes all across it....so i'm guessing the inertia/momentum of that fall has distorted the corner area of this sheet of metal....and if thats what happened theres no fix because the crt is sealed....
whats truly AMAZING is that the crt glass didnt shatter! youre very lucky!!
