help me understand...

loading music via mediamonkey...trying to get highest quality, so chose flac

defaults to "compression" rating of 6 with ability to change value..."less compression" being a faster download time and "more compression" taking longer...

i would think less compression would be highest quality and more compression lesser quality, "less" taking longer and "more" taking less time...

or am i totally off track...not talking about the same compression as i am ???

With flac there is no difference. Flac doesnt' work like MP3.

Try this:Using one song try compressing it with the "less" option and then do the same song with the "more" option. Then look at the file sizes, they should be the same.
