i can get the mirage omd 5's with the omdc1 center for about 900 with the s8 sub. or i could get the Definitive ProCinema 1000 Speaker package with the sub for 950. which one is the better deal? both are good for the price but i dont know which ones would sound better im leaning more towards the mirage.
any opinions?

Whichever ones sound the best to YOU. No one can tell you which speaker is going to sound the best to you, in your room, on your gear. It's best to audition for yourself.

i like the way they both sound. i just want an opinion on the quality difference on them which is a better deal?

I prefer the rich warm sound of the Mirages over the DT's. To me, they sound very shrill, although have decent mid-bass for a satellite. I also feel the S8 is a better sub. The Prosub will have more output, but with what seems to me a much higher rate of distortion.

The OMD-5's are awesome along with the C1. Were did you find the 5's? I thought they were no were to be found.

my buddy is the manager at ultimate he sold me the floor models. still comes with the warranty. for 79 bucks a piece i couldnt pass them up. and i got the omdc1 center for 299. the sub was 250 i think. what should i set up my sub for the crossover at since these are bigger satelite speakers. 90? the nanosats i have are higher like 110 or something.
