hello all

this may have been covered but im not finding info on it... has anyone tried using a 2.6.29 or newer kernel on this m/b... i have not been able to get it to load the network driver with anything newer than a 2.67.27.24 kernel.... if you are running the newer 2.6.29 or 2.6.30.1 kernel what is your config like for this system... did you have to build the networking driver from a different source? i do have a working config for the 2.6.27.24 kernel and the network driver does work... please any help would be nice as ive not gotten past this point to finish this setup...

thanks abbe

I switched to v2.6.29.6 from v2.6.28.10 about a week ago without incident. I didn't do anything other than run "make oldconfig" with my old config and answer the new questions. You should check your kernel logs to see what errors are occuring when you try to load the forcedeth module.
