Im looking for a plasma or LCD for the basement. Are there any new models coming that are 60" or larger within the year?

If size means alot and you can afford it, I say get the Panasonic 65VX100U Premiere Plasma (65 inches).

If picture quality is a little more important than size, than get the KRP-600M (60 inches) or Elite Pro-151fd (60 inches)

Is this for movies?

If you can spend close to $10k then get something like a Pioneer plasma and then pickup a JVC projector and a 100"+ screen for $5k and have a huge movie screen and a big TV for everything else. :)

probably not the answer your looking for, but I agree xb1032. I have a measly optoma hd65 and a 100" screen, and i think to date it is one of the most enjoyable tv/movie/gaming experiences I have ever seen.

So if your looking for big, id say go for a projector. Or if you already have one, ill shutup :p
