What would you buy for a movie/hd tv and a little gaming type of person.
They are both very close in price.The lcd or the plasma??

What are your thoughts?

Some people like one, some the other. Without more info how can we help? I like plasma much more than LCD, Viewing angle, motion and such, you might prefer something different.

I actually had this exact same decision up until today when I made up my mind. I am planning on going with the Samsung LCD. I personally prefer the plasma technology, but the samsung offers tons more picture control and well as movie 2.0 (a big factor in my decision). Also, I will be living in an apartment with some friends (college age) that I'm afraid will fall asleep and leave the TV on, so I dont want to deal with image retention.

Samsung is from what I hear the best LCD maker in the game, and all of their TVs look really nice, so I am fine with the decision. Especially since the 120hz should make it smooth enough.
