I'd like to place my Epson 1080UB projector 16.6" away from a 115" screen (I do not have a screen yet but will be a diy BOC).
I used a calculator from projectorcentral.com and it shows a throw disctance of 15.5".
Would I have any issues placing it 1 foot farther than recommended?

It will be placed 76" from the floor in a light controlled room.

Look closer; it has a throw range of 11'3" to 24'1", so you're fine.
