Finally!

Three weeks late but it looks like the free V2 upgrade (7.1 PCM via HDMI and a couple of bug fixes) is ready for download:

Just think, in another 19 months, Theta Casablanca users will be all the way to 5.1 on HDMI (maybe) (or not)

Thanx Jeff. Since I have less than a dozen 7.1 titles, discrete 7.1 input is not as big a deal for me as HDMI connectivity or room correction was.

Still, I'm surprised how much they can squeeze out of the ol' girl. Upon release, it could only input 1080i/60 and 5.1 PCM. Last summer they gave us 1080p/24/50/60 and this year we got 7.1 PCM.

Who knows, if they delay their next platform any longer, we may end up with PLIIz height channels. Heh.

Agreed (re: # of 7.1 titles). To this day, the 7.1 release of Pan's Labrynth is the most impressive sonic experience ever in my theater.:)

Loved it in the theatres, but never got around to re-watching it at home. Time to peel off the shrink wrap (and grab a box of kleenex).

EQ? Halcro never figured out how to get the scaler to work. EQ was light years away!! :D

My EQ is outboard!!
