Has anyone programmed this remote for both Dish Satelite DVR functions (I have Dish Network 625)and Home Theatre functions (I have a Sony HT-CT500 Soundbar System)? I don't see DVR-type buttons but I read you can designate other buttons for it. I've read the owner's manual but am still confused as I am not a technical person at all. Thanks for any feedback.

The text on the LCD-labeled buttons can be changed to anything you want, including DVR functions not available on the hard-labeled keys (like Record). You can also learn any command from your original remotes to any button. Just follow the steps in the manual.

A RF universal remote like the mx-350 will not be able to control the second tuner on the dish receivers, which is RF only. And the only remote that will ever control it is Dish oem RF remote.

All RF universal remotes are IR only controlling devices, since the only RF frequency they know is their own.
