Its been a while since I actually posted about my Home theater. Most of it was finished 2 years ago and I stopped posting on my build page over a year ago.

I took this 5 minute video of it yesterday:

I pretty much consider it finishes at this point. It took me some time to buy the rest of my sound panels and install them properly (by the way, there are 5 behind the screen).

Things I still need:
* 4 more for a bass trap in the front corners.
* More decorations in the stairs
* More soundproofing in the stairs area

I originally was going to make the rear a game area/bar but the simple fact is that I really don't use it much like that. I decided to throw my workout equipment down there since its so cool and I can jam to music.

I think I planned my electronics perfectly because in 2 years I haven't remotely felt the need to upgrade yet.

I watched "Watchmen" last night which is amazing on the sound. My neighbors still heard it even though they are blocked by double 5/8th sheet rock, double wall and double insulation on that side.

Heeheeh! I knew that I got into it at a perfect time when the electronic version would last as long as they would in these days. 1080p, HDMI 1.03, PS3 (BlueRay), etc...

I still think they got years and years in them!

Very nice! The walk thru is purddy neat! Nice work! I too must (regrettably) agree with hanesian, no one can have equipment for two years and not have upgradeitis! I have not even purchased equipment yet and I have it for Pete's sake!

Kick back, pop a cold one and enjoy the fruits of your labor, you definitely deserve it!

Regards,

RTROSE
