I want to put in a simple lighting system (1 zone) and the Maestro seems like a perfect solution.

Can the Maestro IR dimmer work with any regular 3-way switch? I read on Lutron website that they say it will work with their accessory dimmer as a 3way system but I want a regular switch (pref non-lutron) as the 2nd area.

Does anyone know if any regular 3way switch will work or do I have to get the Lutron 3way dimmer?

This is what I want:
3 way switch -> Lutron Maestro -> light

From the MaestroIR installation sheet:

"Maestro IR Dimmers are not compatible with standard 3-way/4-way switches. Use only with Maestro Accessory Dimmers (MA-R, MSC-AD)"
