I have recently installed HT cables in my living room wall, the wires are running next to (or across) a chimney for a fire place (located 4th below). The chimney is set back a good 6inchs from where the cables are running and there is a layer of fire proof insulation between the chimney and cables. I am looking to put one more heat reflective layer between the cables and chimney to prevent any heat transfer. Would something like a Reflectix Foil Tape add some heat Reflection?
