looking at the lg PS60 and the lg PG60 any opinions on these and what is the difference between the 2 and are they good units?

also looking at the LG 60PY3D 60" Plasma TV and the Samsung PN63B550 - 63" any opinions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seems like lg does not make plasmas on par with samsung/panasonic.

not really. panasonic or samsung beat them out, except for price. black levels have been reported to be pretty bright. and they have always been bad with ir/burn-in.

Sorry, this isn't 2007, it's 2009 going on 2010 electronics-wise, so any report from 2007 is pretty much worthless. Technology has marched on, it's just the
LG hasn't marched as far as the rest. Looks as Panny and Sammy, go LG only if you have a great reason to, not that I can think of one.
