Here are my specs
- Front Speakers are infinities, but I bought them new around 18 years ago, don't know the model...
- Center Speaker Polk Audio CSR Center channel speaker
- Rears Polk Audio RC80i 2-Way In-Ceiling Speakers (Pair, White)"
- Subwoofer - Infinity PS28 (w/Black Grill) Powered Subwoofer
- Receiver - Onkyo TX-SR507
Today my right front speaker went out, the outer ring just disentgrated. Having it for 18 years, I figured money well spent.
So I'm looking to replace it pretty quickly. Been looking at the Infinity Beta 20's. They look similar to what I had, not sure if the specs are comparable though.
Would these speakers be too much or not enough for my system, or just right. I see these are 5 year old speakers, and wondering if I should go for something that's more recent.
I'd like to spend less than $200 on a pair.
I spent some time today browsing the net, and these forums mainly, but I end up being overwhelmed. This is my first foray into surround, and I don't have the money to make any mistakes.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
