I’m new to all this and learning

I have:
Pioneer Kuro 600M
Pioneer 320 Blue Ray Player
Pioneer VSX-1019
Cablevision Scientific Atlanta 8300HD DVR Scientific Atlanta 8300 DVR

I would like one remote to run everything. (RF is not needed)

I don’t know if its possible, but will the one remote be able to access the DVR functions on my Cablevision Scientific Atlanta 8300 DVR?

Thanks for any help

Logitech Harmony. I have two and both control my entire systems perfectly, including the 8300 DVR.

I have an old 659 and a 670. They all have access to the same library of remote codes and all programming is done online so it is very easy to setup.

I have a similar setup except I need RF, all my components are in a seperate room.

Suggestions?

Thank you

+1 For the Harmony 670... We have the same one and use it for two different systems in two different rooms...

If your SA remote can do it... you can use the learn features of the Harmony remotes to do it just as easy...

You can grab a new 670 off amazon for $67 or a refurb (from other sellers on amazon) for $59...

Or if you want a few more bells and wistles (and the ability to charge your remote on a base) grab the 880 off amazon, new for $160 (free shipping) or grab a refurbished one (from others sellers on amazon) for $108...

Good luck, you will not regret purchasing a Harmony...

It will cost a little more to grab a harmony remote with RF, but various sellers are selling Refurbished Harmony 890's from $165 to $180 on amazon...

Skip the headache and get yourself a URC MX-450 with the option of going RF in the future. Harmony programming is a nightmare compared to any of the pro products, this coming from someone who has programmed URC, NEVO, RTI and Harmony.

URC's MX5000 does, with an MSRP of $1,200.

It quote: ".....confirms each button push with a small vibration, making it much easier to operate without taking your eyes off the screen. Even better, it can send commands via IR, RF,and WiFi."

The MX5000 will be shown at CEDIA.

While $1,200 is a lot of money to spend on a remote, you might have an easier time with the WAF, if you tell her its not just a remote......its a vibrator too.
