Not partial to LCD or Plasma though have never owned a plasma, but i do lean toward Samsung for any reason people prefer a brand.

Very open to other recommendations.

Both are nice units, I much prefer plasma for several reasons, viewing angle and motion, you need to spend some time with both and decide what you like.
