I have an old Sylvania tube TV from 2001. Recently, the original remote stopped working so I purchased a new universal remote. The universal remote, along with another universal remote I already had, did not work. I'm starting to think the receiver inside the TV is what's not working. Is this easily fixable or would I be better off getting a new TV? Other than the remote, the TV is working fine at this point.
