I have a $1500 dollar max budget.

Samsung PN50B450 1 year warranty +PS3 slim

I game alot with my 360 and I am planning to watch football games in HD. I'm not a big movie watcher. I've never owned a hdtv set and when I look at plasma's at Fry's, BB, Walmart ect, I don't see a big difference in quality. The room I plan to have it in is an average sized room.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Would like to add that I would be willing to shell out an extra hundred if people think the Panasonic G10 54 inch model is that much better than the S1.

Is getting an extra 3 years of warranty worth it with plasmas?

My understanding is that burn in isn't covered by 99 percent of warranties.

Is that not the worst that could happen to a plasma set?
