I have compared these two sets on the samsung website and the specs they list are identical. I have heard the 560 series has a bit better black level. Is this true? Is that the only difference between these two?

I'm pretty sure there's a difference between the anti-reflective coating on their screens.

I hate decisions like this. Amazon has the PN50B550 for 925 shipped. Thats pretty crazy....is the 560 really worth it?

the 560 has cinema smooth, the 550 does not. cinema smooth takes 24p blu ray and displays it at 96hz.

I've read in a few posts that Cinema Smooth doesn't do all that great a job. Just got a PN63B550. There's nothing wrong with a 550.

CS works fine, but it sometimes has a side effect that samsung needs to correct with a firmware update. it raises black level and sometimes adds some noise to the picture, but it does work.
