Just wanted to know which firmware updates I should do for the Viewsonic 8100? It appears my pj is running version 1.51. There are a couple of updates available through Viewsonic's website and I really dont know what the differnces are between 2.5 and 2.51? Which ones should I do?

1.) Pro8100 Firmware 2.5 (Discrete 3rd Party Remote Version) Size: 1MB

2.) Pro8100 Firmware 2.51 (Original ViewSonic Remote Version - non discrete Power) Size: 1MB

3.) Pro8100 Firmware Updater Program Size: 2MB

4.) Standard Monitor Driver Unsigned Size: 1MB

5.) Standard Monitor Driver Unsigned Win x64 Size: 1MB

There is a thread in the 3000 and up catagory. You could post there also. I believe 2.51 is the latest.

izover4u if your remot control have 2 power botton one for 1 power and the other is 0 for off you should update with 2.5, and if you have the same power botton for on and off update with 2.51, i have these 3 bluyray movies and iam seeing them at 1080p 24Hz, try to play them after the update, other thing at video setting set to play at 24Hz not auto.
