Simple question to which I've heard two answers "yes" and "no";
Does the "quality"/price of an HDMI cable matter? What can be gained by using say - a Monster Cable?
Thanks for the input..

so i presume it would be better to pay 6.00 from solid source than 140.00 from a local B&M

certainly better for your wallet... ;)
i've often thought that there should be a banner at the top of every avs page that says...
"all hdmi cables are not the same, but if a cable 'works', buying a more expensive one will not give 'better' results. and at the length that the majority of people are using, generally speaking, the cheapest ones 'work'"...
A "sticky" would be nice. ;)

yup. wouldn't hurt, for sure. :)
Quality of the cable matters up to a point, but quality is NOT correlated with price.
